The Moldau transports us on a life-affirming journey on the Czech Republic’s Vltava River, and Bartók’s virtuosic Concerto for Orchestra takes us even further into the musical sounds of Eastern Europe. Sharon Roffman, the Concertmaster of the Royal Scottish Symphony Orchestra, joins the Longmont Symphony to perform Tchaikovsky’s beloved Violin Concerto.
