This journey into America’s heartland includes Aaron Copland’s celebration of the American West, Rodeo, Libby Larsen’s Cowboy Songs, the Colorado premiere of Robert Kurka’s Symphony No. 2, and Barber’s powerful Knoxville: Summer of 1915. Christie Conover, an alumna of the CU College of Music, will be featured in this evening of Americana.
