Longmont Chorale Celtic Concert with the Denver and District Pipe Band and Highland Dancers – Sunday, 10/13 at 3PM at LifeBridge in Longmont

The Longmont Chorale performs a Celtic concert with the Denver and District Pipe Band and Highland Dancers. Doors will open for the first concert of the season at 2:30pm on concert day.

“Over the Sea to Skye” – A Celtic concert by the Longmont Chorale and guests Denver and District Pipe Band and Highland Dancers on Sunday, October 13 at 3pm at LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont.

This concert is our first major concert of the 2019-2020 season, titled, “Destinations”. “Both our audience and our singers love our concerts with the Pipe Band. This concert is sure to be a highlight of the season!”, says Bob Balsman, the Longmont Chorale’s board president.

“Over the Sea to Skye” will feature familiar favorites such as, “Danny Boy” as well as “Amazing Grace” (with bagpipes accompanying) and “Wearin’ of the Green”. The program will also feature the title piece, “Over the Sea to Skye”, “Star of the County Down”, and the whip-fast, “Quick, We Have But a Second”.

The Longmont Chorale, Denver and District Pipe Band, and Highland Dancers will join forces for additional selections, all in a program that is sure to delight both singers and audience alike.
